What is the difference between a 3/4-length orthotic arch support and a full-length orthotic arch support?

A 3/4-length arch support extends from the heel to the ball of the foot (right behind the toes). A full-length insole extends the entire length of the foot. A 3/4-length insole is more appropriate for dress shoes, shoes with non-removable insoles or liners, or users with hammertoes, crossed toes, or bunions that may need that extra room. Full-length insoles offer cushioning for the entire length of the foot and are trim-to-fit with ordinary household scissors.
